In this case we make a piece of furniture which physically outlines and defines what this could look like. Place yourself inside this personal space to reinforce this psychological region and experience something new during and/or after your stay here or take some time-out here to simply read a book or enjoy your new area of retreat. The shelf also acts as a link to traditional furniture types and can be used for holding personal items to further reinforce the personal barrier between you and the outside.
